EKSO BIONICS® – MOBILES EKSOSKELETON

Your mobility and independence are our goal!

To help you regain your mobility and independence, we train with you—supported by the latest robotic technology—within a multidisciplinary team, paving your way to social and professional participation. Together, we will create an optimal, goal-oriented training program, combining physical therapy and/or occupational therapy with our gait robot. The rehabilitation goals are tailored to your performance individually and promptly.

Training Program

The „Ekso“ is a mobile, partially backpack-worn, battery-powered therapeutic exoskeleton (external skeleton). It allows patients with leg paralysis and available arm support (even one-sided) to stand and walk on flat surfaces. It is especially suitable for training standing and walking in space after spinal cord injuries, stroke with unilateral paralysis, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), or cerebellar damage.

For affected individuals, it leads to a high level of motivation to move upright in space with the „Ekso.“ The high number of repetitive steps promotes neuroplasticity, which results in significantly better therapy outcomes for non-ambulatory patients.

Costs

To provide you with the best possible treatment, you will receive an individual cost estimate in advance. We are happy to assist you with the cost coverage process through your insurance provider.
