The interdisciplinary cooperation between all professional groups in the so-called „rehab team“ is an indispensable prerequisite for a successful rehabilitation treatment. It is essential that every member of the team has not only solid specialized expertise but also the ability to use this expertise in a beneficial way for the patients and to modify behavior where necessary. We aim for involving the relatives of patients as early and as closely as possible in all therapeutic disciplines.
We apply therapies that are proven to be effective, all of which have in common that they are accompanied by intense exercises in conditions close to reality. The medical staff at the Brandenburgklinik strives for a tightly meshed cooperation with the physicians providing further care, in order to integrate them in the rehabilitation plan after the inpatient stay. Where possible, the patient is to be familiarized with self-help groups and preventive programs.
